New Green Angels get off to a Blooming Marvellous start

The new Green Angels term started last week with the current band of  Green Angels learning about Parks and Countryside Management.

The green fingered bunch met at Liverpool Festival Gardens where they go stuck in straight away to clearing and gardening, cutting back the trees and growth that the gardens have enjoyed over the summer and even felled some trees.

Over the coming weeks the Green Angels will build composters, plant for Autumn and Winter and learn a range of skills that they will be able to take forward with them moving forward.

The Green Angels have also come across a range of wildlife including smooth newts. Photographs of the Green Angels and their activities will be posted soon.

Green Angels is funded by The Big Lottery fund and is free for all participants. We have several more Green Angels Courses starting in the coming months.  For further information on how to get involved with future Green Angels courses please get in touch with us via the contact page of this site.
